On Friday Dominique Ansel Bakery created the Cronut – part croissant and part doughnut hybrid. This food creation is made from thin layers of croissant dough that are deep fried, filled with Tahitian vanilla cream and fresh coat of rose glaze, and finally garnished with rose sugar. Next month bakery will change the flavor to lemon maple glaze and maple syrup cream. Unfortunately, New York is the only location where you can buy a cronut – which sells for $5.

A food photographer Kyle Dreier came up with an ingenious series, which combined a pair of classic drinks with snacks.
