On Friday Dominique Ansel Bakery created the Cronut – part croissant and part doughnut hybrid. This food creation is made from thin layers of croissant dough that are deep fried, filled with Tahitian vanilla cream and fresh coat of rose glaze, and finally garnished with rose sugar. Next month bakery will change the flavor to lemon maple glaze and maple syrup cream. Unfortunately, New York is the only location where you can buy a cronut – which sells for $5.

Let’s go into a space mission! Eating in space seems quite fun. Here you can see what do astronauts eat in space. Space explorers eat the same food as people on Earth, but their their food is freeze dried to lock in all nutrients and flavors. Finally food is carefully packaged. Interesting thing – astronauts lose their senses of smell and taste in space. So food doesn’t taste the same as on Earth.
